Our mission is threefold: (1) to provide essential resources and research to help individuals impacted by strangulation, ensuring they have access to support and information for recovery; (2) to provide training and education to service providers, improving their ability to recognize, document, and respond to strangulation; and (3) to conduct research on strangulation in Canada to identify current trends and challenges that can help inform training and the development of evidence-based policies and practices.
